Luminous Day & Night Cream is a lightweight, daily moisturizer for all skin types formulated to promote skin brightness, address dull, blotchy, spotted areas and to support your skin's natural glow and elasticity.  Some of the key ingredients are:

• Brightenyl - A powerful active ingredient that reduces melanin, hyperpigmentation and discoloration on skin, improves skin tone and texture, resists free radicals and minimizes pore size.
• Ascorbic acid 2-glucoside - This unique form of vitamin C works with the skin’s natural enzymes, supporting the skin’s ability to resist free radicals. It also encourages the production of collagen and elastin, for firmer, more supple skin.
• Axolight - Clinically proven to inhibit melanogenesis, it supports luminosity of the skin by helping to reduce melanin quantity and preventing UV-induced coloration.

Is this product able to be used under makeup?

Yes, it is suitable to be used under makeup - with best results when used both day and night. Consistent use of Luminous Day & Night Cream may help to even out skin tone, so that the complexion is naturally improved over time.

Can I use the Luminous Day & Night Cream to help heal a scar on my face?

Yes, it may well help reduce the appearance of the scar. The natural whitening properties in the blend may help to lighten the skin, whilst key other ingredients may help to regenerate and heal the skin cells to lessen the appearance of the scar over time.

How is Luminous Day & Night Cream different from the Ultra-Light Sheer Day and Night Cream?

They are similar, however there are a number of key ingredients that help deliver specific lightening properties, such as Axolight and Brightenyl that are not present in the Ultra-Light Sheer Day and Night Cream.  

Luminous Day & Night Cream is suggested for individuals wanting to even or brighten their skin tone, whilst providing deeply moisturising properties at the same time.

Can men use this product?

While we have developed our Luminous Day & Night Cream for women, it is suitable for men to use as well. 

When should I expect to see benefits from using your product?

While the answer varies from person to person, it usually takes two or three months to see results. After that, you can alternate with the Ultra-Light Sheer Day and Restorative Night Cream or Nourishing Day Cream weekly to maintain the results.

What do I do if I only wish to brighten a small area of my face?

If you have small areas you wish to brighten such as sun spots, you can spot treat them, applying Luminous Day & Night Cream to the areas you want to brighten.

Does Kanapa™ skincare contain any mineral oils?

None of our products contain mineral oils. Mineral oils can clog the pores, interfere with skin's ability to eliminate toxins, and encourage breakouts. We use nourishing plant-based oils which nourish the skin without aggravating acne.
